People who know me know that I don't know the meaning of the word "nice".

It is one of the many words that I don't know!! :)

I will just say "I would not count on it". So get to reading and voting!!!

That said - is there anyone that you read this week, and then looked at where they are in the polls and went "HOW CAN PEOPLE NOT BE LOVING THIS????"

Catching up with a lot of work, reading in between but not commenting much still =/ I think we *might* get over the worst of this crud by Christmas, which is better than we thought it would be last week.

I'm somewhat nervous about the polls (as I have been every week since being put in this tribe). Ugh.

I'm taking the week off (being my own boss sometimes rocks). I really shouldn't as I have a project due on the 5th, but I'll pick it back up next week and finish it. I hope.

I woke up with my right shoulder hurting like crazy. Got the heating pad on it now and I hope it let's up soon. Just 'cause I'm not working, doesn't mean I'm not crocheting.

I wish I had some extra time off, but nope, not until Friday. And a four day work week mean each day has to be extra packed with tasks. Boo! And now, our building has no water. That is really cramping my style as I didn't drive today and am therefore without a vehicle to take me to a bathroom. And of course.....I have to PEE!!!

We're visiting Carrie's bio family this week which included a long road trip in bad weather (took two hours longer for that reason)

Not sure if I like the tribe groupings or not.. I haven't looked at recent voting patterns yet (kind of afraid to)

I don't have the week off, but I do get Thursday and Friday off, so that's pretty good!

Also, our electric company apparently mis-entered our meter reading this month and TRIED to charge us $950 instead of our usual $150. Fortunately, I was able to call in and take care of it - they'd apparently mis-entered the meter reading as 49,000 instead of 39,000 so we were WAY overcharged. They're going to delay the automatic payment (which would have been withdrawn on the 27th) and take a new reading, then re-bill us for the correct amount. Phew!

That rumor is going around? It's funny because I told java_fiend that it would be a nice Christmas present to have a non-elimination round, but I added that there is no way Gary would be that nice or that predictable!

I have read every tribe. This is a first for me, I'm not sure how I got through them so fast! But I have a list of those I plan on posting rec's about, but it's at home. I saw several that deserved more votes than they were getting!

Semi-short week for me. I fly out Thursday afternoon. I'm glad I saved my byes since I'll be gone for 5 days and I know Gary isn't so nice to let us have a week off :)

I should also add that as I'm reading, I'm seeing a lack of comments all around. That makes me sad :( I'm trying to comment on everyones post, but that's hard to do. I get it. But it really is nice to leave a little feedback when you can. People appreciate it. I saw some of the first tribes especially have low comments, so give them some love already :)

I'm just dropping in to say I'm WAY behind on reading and commenting. SORRY! My 8 month old has been sick with a high fever for 4 days. He's on the mend now, so I'm sort of just getting to the point where I'm picking toys up off the floor and running the laundry. :)

Oy vey, I am buried at work. And have been buried under Xmas shopping/parties in my spare time. At least my birthday is on Friday and me and the husband are both off! I am indeed off work this week! AND next week!

I'll be spending the early part of my vacation making candy to send to my parents and aunt and uncle as gifts (I have no idea what to buy them, and they have a ton more money than I do so anything I could afford would be be lame), finishing my holiday cards and mailing them (if you would like a card from me and haven't left me your name and address, there's a post about it over here (http://tigrkittn.livejournal.com/103115.html)), and finishing reading and voting on this week's entries.

I didn't think about this being a non-elimination week, but I have been wondering if we'll have an Open Topic/week off this week- which for me would kind of ironically suck because I finally have the time to sit around at home and work on an entry! However for other people it would be awesome so I'm going to hope for "the greater good"! ;)

Sorry for bye-ing out, guys. I was really moved to see the lovely comments from y'all, and to get a text from Kevin. It's nice to know that I'll be missed. Ended up being several towns away from my computer on Friday and Saturday and couldn't write. But I'll try to Home Game it as much as I can.

Got back the first of two grades! It's official, got an A in Accounting. :) So I'm proud that my work and studying paid off.

Looking forward to reading some entries. Also to having a break from school.

It's a quiet week here. The parents-in-law are coming down on Christmas day and we'll all gather at my brother-in-law's house. 'Twill be crazy!!!! All gift-shopping is done though, with the last box of things arriving tomorrow or Wednesday. I need to send out some online gift cards today and tomorrow, then the little Sparkly elf will be done with her gift shopping. I love choosing gifts for people.
