People who know me know that I don't know the meaning of the word "nice".

It is one of the many words that I don't know!! :)

I will just say "I would not count on it". So get to reading and voting!!!

That said - is there anyone that you read this week, and then looked at where they are in the polls and went "HOW CAN PEOPLE NOT BE LOVING THIS????"

Howdee-Do all! And greetings from soggy, soggy So Cali!

We've had three wonderful days of non-stop rain. I'm lovin' it. Except for the fact that people are even bigger driving-douches when it rains. Other than that, I'm diggin' the weather. And we're supposed to have 3 more days of it! Woooo hooooooo!

Still got lots o' reading to do yet. But there is some good stuff out there.

A non-elimination week would be good! Not bloodly likely but good!

It has been soggy. The puddles from yesterday soaked through my shoes so bad, they are still drenched today! But it sure beats the freezing rain I'll experience later this week. Sure you don't want to go to MO with me? :P

Yeah, I can't foresee a non-elimination round, considering how the season has progressed thus far. I am hoping maybe, that we get next week off due to Xmas? Does that ever happen?

It has happened. He has done non-elimination rounds and done free weeks (last year it was Thanksgiving and Christmas if I remember correctly).

But yeah, I wouldn't count on it with the way things are progressing unless we all make some cookies to send his way. Then maybe...

Dude, you and the girlie need to come visit us in early spring if you like rain. We'll hit up a coffeeshop, a couple brewpubs, Powell's Books, a brew-theater, another brewpub, take a walk on the only volcano within city limits in the US, another brewpub...

My morning: ran out of heating oil, took two kids to the dentist and then discovered they wanted to just do MY appointment this morning, instead of this afternoon. Spent nearly two hours in the chair, flashing back to my extraction-gone-wrong of November. Anesthesia didn't take, TWICE. Got done, took another kid to the doctor. Currently sitting here, unwilling to do fuck-all. :)

I bet the rumour stems from the fact there's nothing about elimination in the poll post, which I will agree is mighty fishy. That said, I'll be very annoyed if it is a non-elimination week, because what a waste of a bye.

I've always thought it would be frustrating to take a bye during a non-elimination week! But you make an excellent point about that.

I'm personally hoping there'll be no topic this week because the amount of byes there'd be for Christmas would make the competition especially fierce. I'd seriously consider taking one myself for that reason alone.
