Green Room - Week 5 - Day 5

It's nice to be here today through the series of interconnected tubes and lifts that power the so-called "internet connection" that brings us all together so we can post pictures of our favorite cartoon characters.

Which of course brings change.

Giant Tubes + cartoons = a sudden awareness of great social ills and solutions on how to fix them!

Excellent.

The only thing that I do know for sure is that there is a poll going on - http://community.livejournal.com/therealljidol/396159.html and the results of that poll will change the fate of mankind as we know it!! (Either that or decide who is making it into Week 6, I get those two confused sometimes!)

So make sure to vote so that large land masses don't tumble into the sea and/or you're favorites end up going home, which amounts to pretty much the same thing.

Oh little dude! And huge congratulations. My boys weren't done until they were a couple of weeks old and it's horrible dealing with a fractious newborn. I prescribe lots of hugs for both of you!

Yeah, Sal seemed to do well with the pain, but he's the most easy-going child I know. I expect that Owen will be a little more sensitive about the whole thing.

On the bright side, after being up all night, I've finally slipped in 45 minutes of sleep. I can't wait to get home!

That's what I hate about hospitals - it's impossible to sleep. My youngest slept most of his first 24 hours but the blasted woman in the cubicle made me wish I'd stayed in my freezing, a/c broken private room! Hope you're all snuggled up at home really soon.

Oh yeah, I've found that far worse than having my husband's snoring keep me awake in the middle of the night is having my strange roommate's husband's snoring keep me awake!!

I hate being poked and prodded at all night and having to share a bathroom that's not mine.

I know I'll get released in the morning, but have to hope that Owen gets enough nutrition today to keep up his weight/bilirubin or they may make him stay an extra day, which will break my heart!
