Green Room - Week 21 - Day 1

Today is the day, and those last couple spots are hanging by a vote.

I can tell you that if the alternate vote "counts", things are going to be shifting around until the last second, but we will end up with 20. If it doesn't, *shrug* then who knows. I just know that I'm keeping a close eye on my email. I deadline I gave was noon today, so by lunch at 1 I will know, and I will be posting.

Good luck to everyone, and I just want to take this moment before the storm hits to say that ALL of you have done a wonderful job and should be extremely proud of yourselves.

Plus, I have said that there was at least one more time when someone could come back into the game, so even if you are out now - who knows. Maybe you have a shot at getting back in! So even when hope is gone, it's not always gone.

Anyway. . . today is going to be *hard*. I'm going to be announcing the eliminations, and then our final 20(?) as separate posts later today. Oh, and there will also be a NEW TOPIC. Remember them?*G*

Eliminations Week 20

Bad news first. . .

This is the post I’ve been dreading making, because there really is no “good elimination post”, and given the amount of people going this week it was going to be hard regardless of who ended up on the list.

Unfortunately that is what happens, sooner or later everyone but one person is going to be eliminated from the game. It’s the nature of the beast.

I’m actually writing this before I know any of the results, before the first Gatekeeper vote has come in. I’m writing it, and saving it – because I know whatever happens it’s going to be tough to say goodbye. Thank you to all of you for writing your hearts out, anyone getting *this* far into the game has absolutely earned their spot.

I have no idea where this thing is going to bounce, but I do know whatever the outcome it’s going to be a group of amazing writers staying, and another group of amazing writers leaving.

The contestants who, unfortunately, did not make it past the Gatekeepers are:

As was pretty much immediately predicted: Thank you to our previous winners: tinhuviel (who due to real life circumstances was not able to make the deadline, but was reading), tru2myart and welfy people who have proven their worth time and time again.

The fourth gatekeeper was the "biggest threat" of this season, the respected and sometimes feared*g*: rm
