Good morning and welcome to "the second half of Week 29"!

We are so close to the end that I can feel it.

But the more I try to play out in my head who is going to win, the more I realize it really could be *any* of them at this point. Each of the Final Four have a compelling reason for being the winner of this season.

It's going to be cool to see how this plays out.

Back from Wizard and very tired after the ballgame last night.

Mets won but it was an ESPN game so it started at 8 pm. Late game.

I have a song in my head (thank's Gary *glares*) and a spring in my step (thanks kittenboo and tulip_in_yellow) so I am not doing too badly at all.

If I manage to get my house cleaned today, I am going to treat myself to a movie later, and a trip to The Eastern Market (http://www.easternmarketdc.com/) this weekend. I also have plans to hang out with chite this week. (hmm, how can I work porcelain72's name into this comment?)

I shouldn't be around much today, so if you see me - tell me to get back to work!

Good morning all!
The prodigal Mama returns :)

The play closed yesterday afternoon, we struck the stage, took a lovely pontoon boat ride with champagne on the lake in celebration of a show well done and now...what the hell am I going to do/say/think about every waking minute?

I have been living and breathing the play for weeks so it's a little sad to realize there's no rehearsal tonight...or tomorrow...sigh. I am always a little depressed when a show closes - the cast and crew start to feel like family (kinda like you Idolers!)

I promise to post pictures as soon as my husband explains how to get my new camera to upload to the pc. He's sleeping in, the bum :)

So very tired!

The wedding festivities ended at 5 last night, and then we had to drive back to Brooklyn from Long Island, pack the car, pack up the baby, handle the baby screaming for "papa!" (his grandfather), and then drive home, all of which got us in after midnight. Of course, the babe woke up at 3 am with a nightmare, and then we were all up before 9.

My husband is a saint for driving the whole time this weekend so that I could write. And my new shiny MacBook is fabulous, because it held its charge all the way from VA to NY and then after a recharge all the way back from NY to VA. *hugs MacBook*

Also am making the Walmart "what do we need to buy for the beach" list. Suntan lotion, John's wifebeater tanks, snack food, cereal, drinks, hair dye, etc. Oh my, I hope my unemployment check comes soon! lol ;)

My life just got a little better since I started borrowing my mom's massive Lord of the Rings audiobook CDs to listen to on the way to work. I think it may actually be incentive to get up and out on the bus in time :)
