Green Room - Week 29 (continuing) - Day 1

Good morning and welcome to "the second half of Week 29"!

We are so close to the end that I can feel it.

But the more I try to play out in my head who is going to win, the more I realize it really could be *any* of them at this point. Each of the Final Four have a compelling reason for being the winner of this season.

It's going to be cool to see how this plays out.

So very tired!

The wedding festivities ended at 5 last night, and then we had to drive back to Brooklyn from Long Island, pack the car, pack up the baby, handle the baby screaming for "papa!" (his grandfather), and then drive home, all of which got us in after midnight. Of course, the babe woke up at 3 am with a nightmare, and then we were all up before 9.

My husband is a saint for driving the whole time this weekend so that I could write. And my new shiny MacBook is fabulous, because it held its charge all the way from VA to NY and then after a recharge all the way back from NY to VA. *hugs MacBook*

I have a sightly older model, from 2006. I really want the slivery MacBook Pro... I'm thinking maybe once I decide on this whole grad school thing, and enroll, and have access to the nifty student discount again.

Ahhh I wish I didn't get the worst motion sickness in the world, or I'd be reading and writing every day during my commute :( Lucky!

(And lucky battery, I must add. I'm curious...my boyfriend has a shiny new Macbook too, but the battery is pathetic...)

Huh. He should probably bring it in to Apple if it is shiny and new. It should be lasting at least 6 hours.

Oof, 6 hours? He got maybe 3 out of it...but now that I think of it, it may not have been fully charged. He was also playing WoW which could suck the power a bit faster than, say, word processing :) I'll bring it up with him.
