Date: 2024-07-06 06:48 pm (UTC)So this weekend we have voting round two here in France. We’re going to have lunch with my MIL and then my husband will vote (I can’t yet). It’s pretty scary right now, I hope we don’t go fascist.
On Friday, I went to a nearby town and hung out with a friend and my dog. We walked the forests near a chateau. It was lovely.

Date: 2024-07-06 07:07 pm (UTC)Luckily we got to go to the Farmer's Market and help paint the town mural yesterday so it doesn't feel so bad.
Also there are worse places to be stuck on a Saturday than the library.

Date: 2024-07-06 07:11 pm (UTC)Our dryer suddenly stopped working, in the middle of a marathon laundry run as we wash and donate a whole bunch of clothes we don't need to keep around. Duct is clogged, which caused the thermal fuse to pop. The duct is in crap shape so decided to just replace the whole length, which is easy to access and shouldn't be hard. Thermal fuse was cheap, and something that can be replaced "easily". Which in theory is correct, except in this model dryer the only way to access it is complete disassembly of the dryer, including taking the drum out. WHEEEEE! It's working again, but I still have to do the duct.
