Prompt - Week 1
Jul. 1st, 2024 07:37 pmI have a couple files for my prompt ideas. They are often just random words or phrases that I come across during my day that strike me as interesting or appealing in some way.
So when I decided that Idol Mini was happening I started looking through what I had in the archives as well as started trying to get my head back in practice.
One of those ideas in the archive was in a file all by itself on my phone. Not with the rest of the prompts (that sometimes happens). It was a phrase with a name. I really liked the phrase quite a bit and kept coming back to it. So I decided "that's the first prompt!"
It wasn't until this afternoon that I had the thought "I should Google that" and realized it's actually the same of a short story anthology and that name attached was the name of the author. So I added it to my "For Later" shelf in the library app.
But I still like it. So I'm still using it.
I've warned you, sometimes it's a single word. Sometimes it's a phrase or a lyric.
This time it's (apparently) a book title:
Someone who will love you in all your damaged glory
The deadline to link your entry back to this thread is Saturday, July 6th at 6pm ET.
(just a reminder, the only thing that should be posted here are links/byes. Everything else should be posted in the Green Room posts)
Have fun!
