The mini-season is over http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/942402.html which means it's time for the "rivals" to drop off "Friends and Rivals".

Making new friends is always one of the highlights of an Idol season - which is why we always end them with a "Friending Frenzy".

So, if you want to meet new people on LJ, post here and say a few words about yourself that might make someone interested in friending your journal! (if they haven't already done so)

Tell your friends to come on over. That's the important part. Spread the spirit of LJ Idol by spreading the word of, and the love for, Livejournal!

Hello All! Adoptedwriter here. Come friend me!!! I'm adopted, I write, I have 4 kitties, (but I love dogs and all furriends), I'm an education aide / Spanish teacher by day and a Zumba instructor and Spanish tutor by night. Married 31 yrs with 2 grown daughters. I live in Cincinnati, OH...used to live in Sarasota, FL...Florida State Univ grad, love my yard / garden, writing, drawing and painting plus other crafty things, spiritually and politically I'm like a great big salad bar....(I'll do a little bit of dis...and a little bit of dat...) The Beach is my church. Turtles are my other totem animal besides cats.
I'm the author of a memoir about growing up adopted and searching for my birth family. I am currently writing a sequel memoir about being an adult adoptee and (re)connecting with my birth father. I hope to finish it this summer!
