In other news, Survivor: China ended last night... no more Survivor until Feb. No Kid Nation (which pulled a major turn around IMO in the last couple of episodes and became worth watching again). We DO have the Amazing Race, so at least there is something to keep me entertained!!

Trust me, you'd rather that I spend my time thinking about reality shows, then thinking about reality shows with my only outlet being YOU!!!!*G*

Though I am hoping that Button Boy and his Daddy sleep a little longer so I can relax on the computer. Once they are up, no more computer play time for me.

I'm with everyone else on starting the weekend over. There wasn't nearly enough of it, although a 2 hr delay for schools lets me start the day a bit late at least. Except the packing tape gun bit me, which wasn't a pleasant start to the day.

Off to make lunches and get out so we can stop at the post office before I drop kidlets off. Whee!

Hey all!

VERY long weekend, as those of you on my friends list might know. Along with the company Christmas party, an oil change and a ton of Christmas shopping, I drove 300 miles in the snow on Sunday to run various errands across the states of Connecticut and Rhode Island. I came home to discover that my roommate had moved out without telling me he was going to. I thought he was moving at the end of the month.

So, stressful. I need to find an apartment and move by January 1, as well as Idol and all the normal holiday stuff.

Weekend? What weekend? I went straight from finals week to a 5-day whirlwind academic tour of the gulf coast. Birmingham yesterday, Biloxi at the moment, on to New Orleans in a couple of hours.

In other news, my brain is feeling as though someone has pulled the gray matter out and replaced it with "new and improved stuffing" ^[tm] thanks to my wonderful new medications.

It is so cold outside! My pup is unhappy with me - her walks have been shortened until I buy me another set of gloves. I can't seem to hang onto a pair from year to year.

It's the only way I keep my gloves in pairs. I take them off before I take off my coat, stuff them in the respective pockets, and the gloves are there for the next time I wear the coat. I have a pair for each of my cold weather coats, but none in my light jackets.

We had a very busy weekend, finding out Critter is going to Rice, burying Ouchie, doing lots and lots of Christmas shopping and wrapping, buying a Christmas tree, watching the livecast (http://questcommunity.com/qccplayer/) and working in the nursery, and baking up a bunch of cookies.

I'm looking forward to finding out what the next topic is!

I'm anxiously awaiting the start of American Idol.

I must now tell a funny story...

I was watching TV with baxaphobia the other night, and we were watching some really stupid cheesey show called something like Don't forget the lyrics or something. In the show contestants must sing and lock in lyrics if they are confident. They get several options for assistance from a friend, or from the shows computer, or whatever.

This woman on the show was struggling and baxaphobia said too bad she used all her bye weeks! lol. Rofl. Therealljidol has snuck into our real lives and has taken over! We busted up laughing histerically.

It's Monday Morning... Gah.

Slept most of the weekend. Visited Toys R Us Saturday afternoon to buy a 3 year old's birthday gift, then went to said 3 yo's birthday party. Watched my Steelers yet again LOSE.

Hopefully this week goes fast. Then I get a 4 day weekend!!

Happy Monday everyone! I woke up late and didn't have time for a shower before work (ewww) so my hair looks like hell. AND I just realized my sweater has a stain on it, so I can't wear it around the office, so I'm cold. Better cold that sloppy looking.

The good news, though? I made cookies yesterday and had five for breakfast. SCORE!

I still need a new computer. Not being able to LJ at home SUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS.

I'm a huge BB fan - I loves me my Reality TV! :)

We got to taping the 3 hr live feeds off of Showtime 2 this past season, and watching it sometime the next day (seeing as they aired from midnight to 3am), although if we got too far behind in the live feeds I'd pretty much just skim through them for anything that "looked" interesting. :)
