Work Room - Week 4

Granted, you don't have to do a non-fiction entry... and the movie related topic can easily be made into talking about a book or any other piece of popular culture.

There's plenty of ways to twist and turn these things into whatever you want to make them. On the other hand, they are kind of specific.

But this is definitely a different kind of week. Or rather it's a different kind of week than most of the "new school" players have ever seen. Which makes it interesting to me.

How are you going to make yourself stand out?

They certainly piss ME off.

Especially when I have a regular customer come in and ask for a box of fricken pennies. BITCH WE HAVE TO GO TO THE VAULT TO GET ONE OF THOSE STOP BUYING BOXES OF PENNIES GO AWAY.

This made me LOL! Who the hell is asking for boxes of pennies? That seems insane to me. No one uses them anymore! Except at the zoo, where I use them to smush them into cool looking imprints for my kid. Which I have to spend 50 cents to do. Technically I'm spending 51 cents, but the penny is so worthless, it doesn't even register that I'm smushing up money.

Little old women who claim they are doing "Penny bingo" but are probably really looking for wheat pennies amongst the many, many pennies...

And when she collects too many she comes back with her giant ass water jug of pennies to go to the coin counters and cash them back out...

Also business owners who need the rolls of pennies for their business BUT -- we usually just get asked for a few dollars' worth, not a whole box.
