Week 5 Results and a run off!

It's that time again. Time to say goodbye to 4... oh wait, 3 people!

One tribe has a tie! But let's put that aside for the moment.

The following folks are leaving us today in some EXTREMELY tight races!!!

From tribe 1 it's free_vigilante
From tribe 2 it's teenonfire4lord

In both of those cases a couple more votes would have changed the results dramatically.

From tribe 4 we have...naamaire.

Once a poll is posted, if someone not only drops out of the contest, but also LJ in general, the rule in place is that they have sacrificed themselves for their tribe. Yeah, it's putting a "good face" on it, but that's the rule. No one else needs to go home this week from that tribe.

Thank you so much to the 3 of you for playing. It was a hard, hard week and I really hope that you decide to stick around these parts.

As for Tribe 3, well. . . they both have Gold Stars. So it comes down to a sudden death run off!

OMG, I am grateful that I'm still in the running, but sad that my sticking around came at another person's expense.

These runoffs are exciting to watch to see how things will pan out, but I'm not so sure when it's me I'm watching. :) Whatever the outcome, I'm still going to keep playing, as the writing is good fun and good practice.

I'm glad I wasn't near a computer with internet access today, as I don't think I would have done anything except look at the results. :) Freaking out, yes....
