Green Room - Week 30 - Day 3

I just got back from my morning trip to the dentist. So – yay! Starting your day at the dentist always leads to good things, right?

Or at least you know that as bad as things get, the rest of the day is unlikely to involve a drill.

Unless, of course, you happen to use one during the rest of your day. Or you are mugged by a handyman.

Or there is a fire drill.

I guess there are other ways that your day could possibly involve a drill. So, nevermind that.

People always look at me strange when I tell them that Hall and Oates have gotten incredibly popular again. But after the show we went to last night, “You Make My Dreams” came on, and it was an instant 20-something dance party all around the room, with them singing along.

Fortunately, we ended up getting a little bit of video of it. So, now I have proof! (once it’s posted)

It’s almost as good as having a receipt for a doughnut.

It wasn't that long ago that I'd take oral surgery over going to work... But I agree, starting your day with the dentist is icky. At least you would hope the day can only get better from there!

I was late to the party, but I wrote up something for everyone leaving the game during the last elimination. I'm going to try to highlight what I've enjoyed about each person as they go out since I feel like we've all been together so long already, there's something I've enjoyed about every single one of you. I can't make any promises, but I'll try. I included the sacrifices too. It's over on the results thread, I'd link it if I could easily from my phone. I think the eliminations are only going to get harder from here on out and everyone left is super talented, I just hope they know that. Well everyone else but me :P

I hate sounding conceited like I'm including myself in there. I mean all of the rest of you out there! I'm here still so I'm sure that says something... But I'm blown away by how awesome the rest of you are. That's the real point of this message today.

Okay, I'll stop rambling and get back to work now.

I need a dentist... preferably one who understands that I am allergic to mint, and even if they do only typically offer kids the bubblegum toothpaste and I'm clearly old enough to get over it, I seriously need whichever alternate flavor they have, because it's really weird to be tasting something you know you can't eat. O.o

I love a dose of Hall and Oates :) However, my taste is music will never be described as trendsetting.

Too much to do today. I need to get an LLC set up, but I think I need to sneak to the kitchen for some food first. Cannot practice law on an empty stomach!

I've already got an idea for cesspool and a sorta-idea for disappear, but am willing to abandon both if somebody comes up with something too ridiculous to resist. Hit me witth your best shot, and I'll try to work with it.

I still have this freaking hardcore cold. Oh well. I wrote the universe story through extreme sleep deprivation. Guess I'll have to just write through the cold. Goal is at least two entries done by bedtime Sunday night.

My sister-in-law is graduating from high school next week! :)This is the sister-in-law who lives with us. I have to admit that I am somewhat looking forward to sending her off to college - I think she's planning on living in the dorms.

I just wanted to say that Idol really rocks, and you're wonderful people, and thank you for letting me participate and write and stuff. And most importantly - meet new friends who have been healthy for me, as opposed to my last attempt at an online community, and who have so many things to teach me and ways to help me grow as a person. Ya'll rock!

I'm doing better than I thought I would at writing stuff this week.

Just as well, as I'm no good at doing anything else. Still recovering from last week with my parents and a bunch of my husband's family.

I think I've got an idea for one of my remaining topics, so all that leaves is "Gobsmacked," which is leaving me totally cold. Help?

My day sucked.
I was twitchy all day and still NO GLASSES!

I wana see more then 8 inches from my face.
To top it off my Kindle is haveing issues.
It refuses to charge so I have to go to amazon, have them send an envilope and get it sent in for repares/replacement. I'm glad I have the extra warenty.
Of course this means that I am not all sure if this is typed up right.
I have a great story for Disapeare and an Idea or two for apropreate as well for that wiered thing that was tossed on top. Now if only my eyes would get here and get ready so that I can see to type it all up. I also have to write some more Dragon Prime and another zombie story. I'm thinking when I have enough Zombie tales I'll put them together threw Amazon publishing sense its free to publish for the kindle and the place that they use for paperback only costs for the proof copy.

I did, in fact, have a fire drill at work today, which I got to blithely ignore, because I was on register. I wanted to smack some people around, though, because the manager-in-charge had to page the fire code three times over the intercom before enough people actually showed up.

Three friends and I are driving to Sydney tomorrow (that's about 870km/550 miles) to see the musical of An Officer and a Gentleman. Yes we really are the coolest kids ever.
