Do you know where you are for that matter? I've heard a lot of rumors about your night, and none of them are good! Are there any identifying traits to the woods where you woke up? Yes, I know "there are a lot of trees", but maybe the position of the sun can help you. Although I'm not as certain that it will help you find your pants. You are on your own on that one.

This was the first time I was actually stressed about Idol, not having a partner made me freak. I questioned my abilities, and my like-able-ness, hah! Not fun!

ETA: of course, I'm sure the fact that I am never online anymore and thus not participating in green room or commenting much has a lot to do with that, and I get it. But still, ouch!

I'm trying to not be grumpy today. My roommate let her obnoxiously loud alarm go off for 15 minutes again today. On top of a cat that was meowing it's lungs out starting at around 4 am. And I didn't get to bed early at all because I was just too busy to breathe. So I'm trying to not let that and work get to me.

Otherwise you might find me in the woods tomorrow morning! I'd run off to hide in the woods if I could.

Actually, I would maybe not mind wearing someone else's pants right now. Pursuant to yesterday's cramps, today I'm feeling a little bloaty. I'm sure you're all thrilled to know that about me.

My partner has already posted her entry, and I'm putting the finishing touches on mine. And while we're on the subject, I wouldn't mind an extra pair of eyes going over my entry, if anyone's got the time.

My shoulder surgery is tomorrow, so I'm off to return library books and get groceries that are appropriate for post-op (I tend to gravitate towards vanilla ice cream, soup, and ginger ale). Unlikely that I'll be reading this week, but I'm sure I'll wake up from anesthesia and say, "Shit! Did I turn in my Idol entry??" (Luckily, I already have!)

You know what confuses me? LJ keeps showing other people's icons for other people, hence disguising them and making me think they are other people they're not. Last week, it was roina-arwen and halfshellvenus, then someone else shared their icon. Now you have the same icon (in my LJ at least, chances are good that it's not showing up like that to anyone else) as thephantomq. Unless you really have the same icon...

Now I'm confused.

Speaking of trails, I'm thinking of taking the kids geocaching tomorrow or Thursday depending on the weather. I looked on the website and there are a couple of caches right by our house.

See its Wednesday here now, so sure hope all the entries are there, will read most of them if I can get the boring stuff done first. ( Boring as in chores.) Abandonded my self portrait will work on that for the August art show now. But setting my sights on two writing comps. Have more in the pipeline, so am typing at high speed, and brain is in overdrive.
Who said being this age meant sitting in a rocking chair and knitting? nuts to that.
