Good morning Idol! (Or at least as long morning may last, and then "good whatever")

First and foremost, there is a poll going on right now - http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/508975.html so I hope you are busy reading, commenting, and voting. Because the fate of many is in your hand. Or at least a few people - and if by "fate" you mean continuing to be active contestants in LJ Idol. Which, of course, as we all know, being eliminated is a fate worse than being pecked to death by cats.

Second, I would be remiss if I didn't post the link that I promised yesterday for the new Idol book http://www.amazon.com/Idol-Meanderings-Sophie-N-Childs/dp/1908599014/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1323964152&sr=8-1 - someone else did post it, but since I said I would, I have.
I'm reading it now, and quite enjoying it. Especially the new material, and rediscovering things. Things always "read differently" on the screen than they do in print. At least for me.

Do other people have that as well?

Third - I don't have a third, other than being excited for the finale of Survivor this Sunday. Still not sure where I'm going to watch it! But I'm still excited.
What are your weekend plans?

I feel the same about Coach v Ozzy. Sophie I can take or leave, but I'd prefer her over Cowboy or Albert. Brandon isnt playing with a full deck.

I'm about in the same boat as you. Coach is skeevy. I'm not a Christian, but the way he prayed to find the idol when he already had it? That was wrong. You don't disrespect people's religion like that and then call yourself a Christian man. I don't like the way he's playing and using "God" and "prayer", I find that insulting and I'm am agnostic That should say something! Or maybe I'm just annoyed by it when it's obviously fake. That's more likely it.

I was okay with Albert, but he's pretty much screwed himself by trying to play big moves but never going through with them. Sophie it is I suppose, but I hate that she thinks it's easy to win!

It is very disrespectful to try and use someone's faith to win a game, and to manipulate and use it to lie? It is gross. I really don't like Coach for these reasons, he's using the whole "Christian man" bit to get ahead and it's really dirty. I don't like it.
