Results - Week 3

Apparently, LJ is at it again. I assume that they are "fixing something" and things will be "improved". I know that I had to do some fancy refreshing to get everything closed on time. I also know, from the person who matters the most in the world, that people trying to cast votes in the last few hours have been having difficulties doing that.

Hopefully, most of the people who wanted to vote either did it earlier, or were able to keep trying until they were able to do it.

"Interesting" circumstances though always make for unexpected results, and I think this week continues to qualify for that title.

It's another mix of old friends, and new faces that, when we met in Week 1, I was really hoping to see for a lot longer than this.

Unfortunately though, we are at the part of the week where we need to say goodbye.

But before we do that, let's handle the "good" news.

As you may have noticed - Tribe: Redemption ended with another tie!! Which means the three of them will be joined by two others, fresh off a tie of their own: morning_stand and[Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]

That should make life interesting next week.

In the "not so good" column though, is a series of other votes, some quite close, that did not turn out as well.

I'm disappointed but really not surprised. So many things this week! Not the least of which that I really didn't like my own entry and that... is probably not a good sign.

I am surprised by most of those names, I really am. I am sorry to see all of you go, and really hope to see you around. Gary isn't kidding about chances to get back into the game... and usually the best bet for that is to stick around and home game it. When/if the time comes and people can bring others back in, it helps to have people who are familiar with you.

So sorry to see all of ya'll go though and from a personal standpoint, would love to read more of your stuff and get to know you more.

Well thanks to everyone who voted for me and sad to be going so soon. It's been a fun and interesting experience and I've read some really awesome pieces by writers who make me catch my breath with their talent. I have a question about the Home Game - I understand that we write a piece on the week's topic, but is there a deadline and where to we link it? I would suppose we'd link to the Green Room, whichever day we finish our piece? And also is it just an "if and when" thing when we feel like it? Or maybe there are no rules? Is anyone else Home Gaming it?

You link to it in the Green Room, and I think you're supposed to do it by the topic deadline, although I don't know for sure.
