Green Room - Sign Up Week - Day 3

therealljidolOnce upon a time, in a far away village called The Internet, there lived a monster.
Unlike other monsters of the time and age, this one was not misunderstood or just wanting to be loved and appreciated.
This one wanted to gather people together and force them to write for months on end, devouring the ones who didn't run quite fast enough in the process.
He would let the one who ran the fastest go, letting them live out their lives - and telling other people about their trauma, and how they barely escaped, and somehow convincing other people to put their own necks on the line in hopes that they would escape as well!
The monster posted a Green Room every day, to check out what the villagers were saying, while he slowly circled them, waiting for the right moment to strike.
He also posted a Sign up thread: http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/485253.html - to gather more people to compete and a FAQ : http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/484986.html to answer some questions. What no one talked about was that it didn't cover the big question of "why did the monster want to eat them all?"
That one was obvious. He was a monster. That is what monsters do.

For people waiting for that second announcement that I promised "this weekend". It's coming. It will probably be Monday morning though. But when it comes, you will know it - oh yes, you will know it!! *cues sinister background music*
