If you believe that my niece had a softball game that I forgot about, well, you could probably make some money in Vegas.

So, what are your plans for this weekend? Other than struggling with Round Two? :)

I'm done reading actually, and voted in all the polls...so the extra time only makes me stress more. Well I haven't been able to comment a whole lot as most of my reading has been on my phone, but I'll see what I can do before the poll ends :)

My weekend includes dinner tonight with java_fiend, then not sure what else...we will surely hang out, but no plans that I'm aware of. I bought a LivingSocial coupon for a place called Rockin' Crepes where all the dishes are named after 80's bands and they show horror movies on Friday night, so that should be fun this evening. Our big plans are for next weekend when we go to San Diego for our 2nd urban scavenger hunt! It's only my second time visiting there, and last time was for work, so I'm excited about that!

I'm trying to keep my mind off medical stuff (mostly medical bills at the moment), and fun stuff certainly helps!

Man. Work just WILL. NOT. QUIT. today. At least I have other people's fascination with the royal wedding to be fascinated with when I feel like I'm losing my grip. I've never been interested in the royal family (though when I was 14 I knew WAY TOO MUCH about Wills-who was also 14, since we're the same age-because I have a friend who was IN LOVE with him), but right now I'm feeling strangely maternal feelings for Prince Harry, who is kind of adorable and seems rather cheeky. I want to keep him in my pocket. And maybe take him out for a beer.

Not sure what my weekend plans are... hopefully it involves some sunshine and relaxing, though. But I've also got to work on some end of semester assignments and whatall.

Today looks to be absolutely gorgeous, so I might go take a walk... get some sunshine and fresh air. Maybe there will be interesting people lurking about who I can watch.

I finished reading all the entries and voting yesterday. Commented on everything, too! So, yeah, extra time just makes me more anxious, like pixie117 was saying above. *bites nails*

My weekend is probably going to be spent writing as I have a deadline Sunday night for another thing I entered into and about 10k more to write. And possibly round two, depending on how that goes. Too much to do, not enough time!

Good Morning Idolers!

Happy Friday to everybody!

Still have a lot of reading/voting yet to do so I'm thankful for the extended deadline. There's some really good stuff out there.

Not sure yet what the weekend will bring... nothing big planned but one never knows what might come up, huh? I *do* have to assist the sister-unit with her yard sale tomorrow... meaning, I get to lug around heavy stuff. But that should hopefully be done relatively early as I'd like to enjoy some time with pixie117. The earlier it's done the better as I'd like to take her somewhere tomorrow for a few hours. *fingers crossed*

Well, softball game or not, I'm thankful for the time change. This suits me better because now I can go to sleep at a decent time and still be awake for poll close and find out what I'm in for in round two (assuming, as I hope, it ends up being me there - I doubt I'll catch up to my partners and I'd prefer it to be me there than them; I want them safe and I think if it ends up being something like a 24 hour deadline to write something, I've got more available time to work on that).

Other than doing whatever it is I might need to do for round two, I'm planning on heading to a store to buy some miniDV tapes to prepare me for another music video shoot in October. Yes, I know that's ages away, but I went into a camera shop yesterday to get some, they didn't have any there but told me to come back this weekend to collect. At least then I won't have to worry about preparing that stuff later!

Oh yeah, I've finished reading and voting too. Didn't have time to comment much/well. Today is the last day my husband is here before he goes to Hong Kong so hopefully we do something fun. We also have to collect our dead PS3 that can't be repaired :(

Me? We've got a friend moving out of state this weekend, so I'll be be-bopping from work to home to there and back. I'm just sort of shocked it came up so suddenly -- last I heard she wasn't going to move until sometime in June. Then she calls and says no, she has go NOW. I don't know. I really don't :shrug:

Anyway, thank goodness for extended deadlines!
