Good mornafternooning!!

I don't know if you have seen http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/455638.html but I ended up giving you more time to read and vote. If you believe it was out of the kindness and good will of my heart - I have a bridge to sell you!!

If you believe that my niece had a softball game that I forgot about, well, you could probably make some money in Vegas.

So, what are your plans for this weekend? Other than struggling with Round Two? :)

I'm done reading actually, and voted in all the polls...so the extra time only makes me stress more. Well I haven't been able to comment a whole lot as most of my reading has been on my phone, but I'll see what I can do before the poll ends :)

My weekend includes dinner tonight with [livejournal.com profile] java_fiend, then not sure what else...we will surely hang out, but no plans that I'm aware of. I bought a LivingSocial coupon for a place called Rockin' Crepes where all the dishes are named after 80's bands and they show horror movies on Friday night, so that should be fun this evening. Our big plans are for next weekend when we go to San Diego for our 2nd urban scavenger hunt! It's only my second time visiting there, and last time was for work, so I'm excited about that!

I'm trying to keep my mind off medical stuff (mostly medical bills at the moment), and fun stuff certainly helps!

Yay fun stuff - is the urban scavenger hunt like the other one y'all recently participated in? Those sound like so much fun!!

Yep! Just like it! We will be even more decked out in Seuss stuff than before too! We are going to do more of them too...prepping ourselves for when we try out for The Amazing Race next year ;)

OMG, if I were in better physical shape I'd *love* to try out for TAR. Good luck with that! (And make sure if you do get on the show that you both know how to drive a stick-shift, just in case...)

I told Kevin that the hubby and I have "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" shirts, had we but known you needed them... :)

Ack, both of us? I can barely drive an automatic :p though I was taught several years ago and while I did badly, I could get by (especially with more practice). Though Kevin still needs to teach me how to parallel park too ;)

I saw that! They give us shirts to wear at this one...but we are getting the Cat in the Hat bowties and red and white striped knee socks!

I totally can't drive a stick, so I hear you on that. As long as one of you can drive stick, that's okay - but you never know what might happen, and it's always better to be prepared!

And although I can parallel park, I don't like doing it - I much prefer parking lots!

Have you noticed on TAR that even though you only ever see the racers with one backpack each, that they always mysteriously have warm weather clothes and cold weather as appropriate? Hubby says they pack two identical backpacks, one for each climate, then the production crew gets them the right backpack for where ever they wind up going! :)

Hmmm I wonder if he can at least...I better ask :)

I can parallel park if there's lots of room, but it's terrible. I grew up in a rural town where there was no need for that!

Hmm I have hardly seen the show. That whole not having a TV thing prevents that. I have watched it before and loved it and knew instantly that I wanted to do it, but my ex wasn't as much fun as Kevin is :)

But I just said I don't know how to drive a stick..?

What are *you* thinking?!? Dirty boy! :p

Ooooh crepes :) I remember you saying you'd bought that groupon. Have fun tonight. Try not to sweat the medical bills! 99.9% of medical providers will allow you to pay the bills monthly with 0% interest, so you don't have to worry about paying for them all in one big chunk.
