I think it depends on what is being done! Note I did not say what I considered jerky, only that I promised not to do it.

Also, I have never played backgammon. But I am very good at Scrabble.

My fault- so much of the discussion has been about Topsy Turvy (at least the discussions I've been having, which have not all been on this thread!) that I automatically thought of that!

I love Scrabble! I have an ongoing Lexulous battle with java_fiend and used to play the Scrabble app on FB until my opponent faded away (read: got a girlfriend).

Well, it definitely includes Topsy Turvy. I'm not sure I could use a prize to deliberately eliminate someone who wrote a really good entry (even if that's subjective just to me). But I'd rather use powers for good (to help somebody) than for evil (to hurt somebody) since I am definitely more for the "we're all in this together" approach to Idol.

(In other words, I see this as the US VS. GARY game)

I noticed that you didn't define "jerky" which is so subjective anyway. There are people who've done things in the past that I consider to be jerky which were either applauded, ignored or allowed to pass without comment.

Just bear in mind that you'll never please everyone. Never. So if you're happy, that's what matters most (which means if making others happy is what makes you happy, that's just as valid as being selfish and putting yourself first and vice versa).
