WOW did I misread that... I read you need to "undress" with all of the work coming in at once. I was thinking "casual Fridays" are really casual where you are! :-)

I think I've read and commented on all but two of the entries in the tribe I can vote for. It is a really tough choice-- so far, the vast majority of the entries are ones that would usually be a "yes" in my book. Narrowing it down to the very best is going to be hard.

I mean to get through even the people I can't vote for, but I'll read you all later! What a hard week!

Good morning! I've done some reading for my voting. Think I'm mostly completed with that--and I'll be making my way through my own tribe as well. I've been trying to comment as much as possible. And I'm glad for the comments I've received, too!

I'm super tired, yet again. Thinking I need to improve my eating habits, because I may be vitamin deficient due to laziness lately.

Glad that it's almost the weekend! And this time I will actually be able to rest and relax some!

I just finally finished my taxes. :) Love e-filing. Granted, watching the number change in the corner of how much I owe was a bit scary. Guess it took over for not having a poll to obsess over. Thankfully, once it started doing the personal side of my taxes, the amount owed dropped considerably. While I'm thrilled to be making a profit from my work, there's that tricky issue of paying taxes that sucks. But it's done!

Now I'm off to get some work done today. Later all!

I gorged on reading and commenting last night--that was way too much fun to be had in the space of one evening! So many great entries, I couldn't stop at just one or ten or twenty.

Staying home today with the little one who, it appears, will likely need nebulizer treatments to get over this latest bout of allergy-induced asthma. I'm also supposed to be making a very important presentation at a faculty meeting at noon. When worlds collide...

I feel bad - I won't get around to reading and commenting until this evening, likely. I also feel like I haven't had as much time to devote to Idol this week - that employment thing getting in the way again. I've worked a crazy amount of overtime already, and still today and tomorrow to go. I don't mind the money, but I'm really tired of working non-stop and am ready for a break. That, and, I'm only marginally happy with my entry this week. *sigh*

Also, one of my sons had an EKG yesterday afternoon and I am awaiting the results of that.

In good news, it's Thursday. Somehow I overslept an hour, then arrived to an office with no caffeinated coffee. This means I have plunged into the sixth level of hell. I wish I had decided to make that Starbucks run along the way.

It's work from home day! Hooray! This means I get to skip the shower, wear my bedtime Tori shirt all day and don't have to walk so far to get coffee.

Which I have. With sugar-free caramel and heavy cream. Even if I mess up the diet later with a poptart, I can at least say that my coffee was low-carb.

I'm going to make some breakfast. Sausage and eggs for me - anyone else?

My morning is off to a rocky start. I tried a new moisturizer, and everything was fine until I got to Starbucks and was waiting for my drink. My face started heating up and itching... when I went and looked in the mirror, it was red as a sunburn. I scrubbed my face clean in the bathroom, but it still stings, and it's still kind of red. Shenanigans!!

I'm in less pain this morning than I was by the time I left work yesterday (I seem to have pulled something/cramped a muscle high in my right buttock). We'll see how today goes, I think ibuprofen is going to be my friend.

I am most definitely drop-kicking Smurfs today, I tell ya. Somehow, my team managed to morph into a really sucky version of the Bad News Bears last night. We played our worst game... literally ever... and got smoked as a result. On a night we needed our A games, we just stunk up the joint. Barring some divine intervention, we can say bye-bye to the playoffs. :-(

Will be reading/commenting/voting tonight most likely. The voting twist really threw me for a loop. Stressing but at least I can give the ol' refresh button a rest. What will be will be, yes?

On a positive note... the quest for Lord Stanley's Cup begins tonight! GO KINGS GO!!!

Golly, what a day! I am completely exhausterated in each and every way. I even drank an energy drink earlier and still feel deflated. Our specials classes (aka my "break time) were canceled, my kids were off the chain, and I tutor after school which was followed by parent night. Twelve full hours. I may need to consider taking up drinking!

Perhaps I needed my yellow shirt. Today I wore white (although in all fairness, I did spice it up with the red shoes...apparently not enough though)!

Tonight I'm going to try to read and comment on the rest of the entries from my voting tribe then send off my votes in conjunction with a few "real life" things.
