We're not doing much. Just sitting around. I plan to take Lue on a walk thisa afternoon. Now that I'm actually spreading my wings I want to keep my foundation from falling out from munder us.

It'll be interesting to see how long it takes me to really get comfortable, then when mom says something about getting a gallon of milk... :d

I just got home from taking this big guy (http://thepoochpage.com/2009/02/23/roscoe-the-huge-dog/) out for a walk. The SPCA workers are all afraid of him, so I go there to help him get rid of his energy in the morning while they're cleaning cages. Then the plan is I'll also be going back every night when they do it again.

He still thinks arms are toys. *sighs* I'm working with him, but I'm the only one working with him, so that makes it more difficult. Wish me luck! I need to get this big boy adoptable in fairly short time, or they're going to put him down.

OMG, that's one huge dog! One of the cashiers at work recently adopted a mastiff. She says he's the sweetest thing in the world, but she can't do much with him because of his size -- her husband walks him, etc. I know what that feels like :looks over at Malamute Jack:

I am in that weird place where my body has had enough of this "being awake" thing, but my mind is cruising. It is somewhere on that boundary between pleasant and unpleasant.

The temptation is quite strong to react (and with vigor) to things read (both real and between the lines). Am I the object? The objector? The objection? Only one knows the true thoughts behind the OP's words: the OP themselves. It is not my place to ascribe motives, describe justifications, or proscribe comments.

I only realized yesterday that Lent starts today, so I haven't really thought it through yet. I haven't celebrated Lent in several years, but after everything that's happened this last year, I'd really love to use the next 40(46, really :P) days to reclaim my spirituality. Haven't decided how yet, though.

And, help me Lord, but I somehow threw my back out yesterday. I've never been in such pain, I don't think. It seems worse today. There was screaming and crying involved in walking from the bathroom to the living room. It was awful. :( It finally inspired me to write my first decent post since leaving LJI, and the post was overlooked in favor of the sex meme I posted. Oh well. I suppose there won't be much more of those topics until I can stand unassisted and whatnot.

This morning, I woke up to a sound. An odd sound. Was it the cats playing with a plastic bag in the living room?

No! It was my bathroom ceiling cracking in half and pouring water down in not one, but three discrete areas.

Plaster bubbles, all that good stuff.

Four hours later, we finally got the water turned off above, the super to take a look and the promise of the plumber coming tomorrow.

This is not helping me get shit done.

Iam still around. Just learned what Lent and Mardi Gras through friends explaining it to me in my LJ. There is so much in my lie I am still learning.. I never stop learning, and as my mother said today, "You are catching up after all those years of falling through the cracks in school." Too much pull-out instruction time to really fully participate in class in subjects that is now intriguing me.
