Green Room - Week 21 - Weekend Edition

Good morning.

I was thinking about a comment that I've read in the past and just saw again recently. (It's always funny how the "original thoughts" tend to recycle themselves season to season.*g*) It was about how you have to spend a lot of time in the Green Room in order to do well in Idol.

So then I looked back over the course of the last 21 weeks and realized that there are only, what 4 of the Top 21 who are frequent Green Room participants. Everyone else pops their head in and talks a little, but not anywhere near what the implication has been!!!

Heh, and of course *I* would rather people be talking more in the Green Room!*g* But that's me! I want people to comment in the Green Room, each other's entries and join the community!! These are a few of my favorite things. . . *looks around nervously, afraid that the hills might actually be alive with the sound of music. Alive, and HUNGRY.* (I've heard that the hills have eyes after all!)

So anyway - here we are again. Dancin' neath the starry sky. Or late morning/early afternoon one at least!

Tomorrow's my birthday, but I don't have big plans. Nice plans, yes, but not big ones.

Today I got bitten by a Mastiff. My leather coat protected me from having to go to an emergency room, but it still stung. Am fine, but it was surprising. :)

I still like the Mastiff, for the record. I'm just going to be more careful next time I walk him at the SPCA.

*nods* I've seen it end badly. People are usually smart enough (even drunk) to stop before anyone gets seriously hurt, but alcohol+beating people, even with foam, don't really go well together.

It's still funny to watch, and remind them about, at every chance you get. :-D

When I get to know these people better (I haven't gone to the local game, ever) I will start bringing my camera. If I ever go to an actually full-blown LARP (Live Action Role Playing game) I will bring my camera without knowing them.

I love having "the funnier moments" captured forever. :-D

Happy birthday a day early!

Bummer about the dog bite. Amazingly, I've never been bitten. When I was in high school I did some private dog training to make extra cash and I had a gsd that used to try to leap up and bite me in the face when I bent over! ug. I learned fast with that dog. Broke that habit too. Lucky you were wearing leather.
