 I'm glad that everyone could make it to this meeting.  Before this poll is posted, we have some solemn business to attend to - there is a/are Killer(s) lose in this castle!!  You are the only ones who are able to identify them and bring them to justice!!! 

You have sent in your votes, and this time there were 9 different suspects.  But the majority landed on a Killer being none other than flipflop_diva

Stupid Questions
OK, sorry Gary, I'm just going to admit it, there are a couple things I don't understand. Perhaps that's intentional and what The Wheel of Chaos is all about, but I kinda suspect that maybe I'm just dense.

1. So, F_D was both the person selected by our e-mailed accusations, and the target of the roving killers among us this week? If so, that's quite a coincidence. It can't be that our combined accusations killed him because roina_arwen was last week's pick, and she's not dead.


2. OK, the Nullifier is gone, but was it ever used, or did it just expire?


3. Finally, I realize that several things are probably kept secret now to build suspense and dread, but at the end of this season are you planning a Gary Tells All entry, or will the secrets be slowly revealed as we go along?

Thanks for pointing this out, because a LOT of my original message somehow didn't post. I then went back a second time, wrote it again, hit save and it didn't post!! The third time it worked.

1. He wasn't the suspect. Somehow the section between the accusation and the reveal got deleted. Which is a shame. I wanted everyone to experience that moment.

2. It expired. The second one went out with a quit last week.

3. If people want it, we can have an Andy Cohen style Tell-All.

I'm wondering the same. The nullifier I get, it's like the immunity necklace in Survivor where you can either use it to save yourself from elimination or gift it to save someone else. If you don't use it and you're eliminated, it goes with you. It's the killers I'm not getting. You send Gary your guesses, it turns out that the person most guessed isn't a victim, but someone else is...? We don't know who the killers are, we don't know when they'll strike...? There's something there I'm not understanding.

Killers explained (Hopefully)

- At the start of the game I spun the wheel and it determined how many Killers there were going to be (1-3)
- Then I spun it the corresponding times and the contestant it landed on were selected and notified of their role.

- Every week, during the poll, the Killer(s) have a choice to make: They can poison someone or they can recruit another contestant to their ranks.

- At the end of the poll, whoever has the most votes receives an antidote that they can take themselves or give to someone else they suspect has been poisoned. If they are correct, then the Killer(s) have been thwarted that week and victory for the good guys!!! (Whoever gives the antidote will be notified if it worked or not. But no one else will. Don't want to tip the Killer(s) off after all!)

- Every week, before the next poll - the rest of the contestants have the chance to accuse someone of being a Killer. IF they correctly identify all of the Killers in the game, the killings stop and peace or "peace" once more reigns in Idol Castle. If they don't, we repeat the cycle where the Killer(s) take another shot at them.


Does that make more sense?

I can't remember if I asked you this, the entire month of July has felt like one bad year so far, so my bad if I did, but in the event that we ever actually guess correctly, they're eliminated too, right?

Yes. If you guess correctly, the Killer who is outed will be eliminated. (fortunately there is a chance to come back, because it's not like they signed up to be a Killer)

Yes, it does, thank you! I thought that's how the whole thing is set up. I think you answered this in another post but how does one know they've been poisoned? Would they be suddenly missing a bye for no apparent reason?

They find out they’ve been poisoned by two ways: they fall over dead or they administer the antidote to themselves or the person who did gave it to them tells them.

If the last of the Killers is eliminated in a poll, the killing would stop - but just like if they were exposed, anyone they had poisoned is still poisoned.

I hope you all know, that now that I'm fatherless, they will probably send me to THE USED OTTERS HOME, where an otter would be forced to earn his meager rations by being handled by STICKY HANDED CHILDREN. They have a petting zoo with smelly goats, and give the kids free cotton candy and then let them handle the otters. And since I've been reincarnated into a seal body, I probably will only be wanted by UGLY MISBEHAVING CHILDREN.

At this point daddy would tell me not to be so dramatic, but HE'S DEAD.
