Today's a sad day. Our last bit of doom is almost here, and just like that our Month of Doom will be gone.

I guess we could always make up for it with Feb being "the Month of Extraordinary Doom!!!!" Or perhaps a Wheel of Morality type set up where people could spin and either get doom, more doom or kittens of doom that would snuggle with you until you lost your will to get up out of bed and instead stayed there sleeping for hours on end!

Oh well, I guess the special powers coming in this week are going to make sure that this spirit of doom that we have all come to embrace lives on in our hearts for some time to come!!! Or, maybe not. Heh.

I've already got a kitty that doesn't want me to leave bed to go to work.

I've tried explaining that if I don't work then I can't afford to buy her new gooshy food. But, she's just a kitty and doesn't understand such things as cause and effect.

For the first time in a month I'm wishing I could have some coffee. I'm not dragging ass or anything this morning; I'm doing pretty well, truth be told. Only problem is that the coffee I made my wife smells delicious. Bah.

Icy out this morning but not as bad as yesterday. School's opening on time. Since there's only 7 classes left this semester I guess I should go today, huh?

I was job searching yesterday and manged to aply *again* for evenpro. Yes, *again!* For those who don't know Evenpro is a company I applied to--twice--and neither time did they call me back for a second round of interviewing, so I decided it was time to drop their asses. Well apparently I didn't drop their asses, because when I went to quick apply for several positions at once (woo career builder!) one of those positions just happened to be one back at Evenpro. I nearly went ... waah? when I saw Vicky L's email roll into my inbox.

I'm at work, so I guess I'm okay. We never lost power at our house despite all the ice and tree limbs falling all around. My MIL and several friends weren't quite as lucky!

I'm warm, well-fed, and happy to be here. Happier still that I leave early today for a 4pm doctor appointment with my PCP (nothing major, just ye olde 6-month check-up).

Good Morning!

The world is a sheet of ice. I just went outside to put something in the trash and I nearly went a** over teakettle, and this was just outside the door and moving not even a foot :shudder:

I've got a few errands to do this morning. After that, I think I'll be content just to hang here, do laundry, whatever.

I haven't been feeling well the last week or so. I've been keeping a lid on it. I'm getting tingles and cramps in my hands, feet, and legs again despite upping the calcium/vitamin D. I don't want to go back to the hospital. I really don't :(

I've done that. Dreams have also occasionally changed my opinions about people. In high school, I dreamt that this guy who picked on me was a very good friend. The next day, I didn't consciously treat him any different, but I couldn't shake the good feelings about him. From then on, he treated me much nicer.

I had a Social Security application to do and the guy was pretty creepy. I got it done but I breathed a sigh of relief when he left my office. Then miserable coworkers got on my nerves. Be proud though. I kept my professional cool and just seethed inside.

Tomorrow is Friday! I think Gary's doom looks pretty rosy compared to here today.

OK, finally got my phone call from Endo Doc. I'm to wait 24 hours to see if all the cramping/tingling will diminish. They don't want to give me anything supplemental (i.e., through an IV at the ER) because it's obvious that my body isn't holding on to what I'm already taking...and besides, too much calcium is just as dangerous as too little.

Erp, I'll be in the corner quietly cramping...or tingling, depending on how I'm splayed :p
