About five minutes ago, a "Winter Weather Advisory" popped up on my weather widget. It says to expect about an inch of snow, followed by sleet and freezing rain.

Snow Puppies

Funny you should ask that.

My son has this nifty idea to replace "snow flakes" with "snow puppies."

The theory is that we would not have to shovel them, they would float gently to the ground, then hop up on their little legs and run away, preventing the need for salt, sand, etc.

Everyone could have a snow puppy all winter long. And they could sleep in the freezer, to come out for a quick pick-me-up in the middle of a hot summer day.
