Green Room - Week 12 - Weekend Edition

It's official - you CAN be too nice.

I've received some complaints about allowing someone to stay in despite missing the deadline. Which puts me in a position of somehow making this right or (of course) saying "My game". Which, of course, IT IS. So I could literally do anything and it would be cool within the context of the competition. ;)

But I do like to try to keep things as fair as possible - and since I'm not going to "un-reinstate" someone from the game, that only leaves me with a couple options.

The one that I'm going to go with has only been used a couple times in Idol history. But I do agree that maybe it was unfair to let someone in that far after the deadline.

At this point though, seeing people with the will to *want* to stay in is something that definitely warms my heart.

Call me sentimental. But I think it's a good thing.

So, in the spirit of "making it right". I'm negating the elimination aspect of the poll this week.

No one was charged a bye this week. No one was eliminated. No one will be eliminated.

However, there may be some special stuff involved with the results this week instead.

That's right: dakotawitch, kenakeri, kittenboo, slammerkinbabe, spydielives, teenagewitch and xshibumix get those gloves laced back up!

The bouncing immunity will remain in the hands of the person who received it this week: mstrobel, who will not have to pass it along until the deadline for the topic of Week 14.

Granted, I'm sure there will be plenty of people upset about this move as well! Which seems to be the way it goes!
