I try to keep "signal boosts" in Idol to a minimum. Hopefully people know that means that when I post something, it's something that I think is worthy of your attention.

This is a friend of a friend of people I know in "real life" (who also are on LJ and have been supportive of Idol). I never met the guy, but I've heard stories for years. The fact that he's gone is shocking - the fact that he was murdered is more so.

He's one of the handful of Idolers/former Idolers that I've been lucky enough to meet in person. One heck of a writer and seemed (online, but even more in person) to be a really nice guy.
