Other than that, it's a jammed packed weekend over at Casa de Me.

Results - Second Chance Idol Week 1

The first round of Second Chance Idol brought out some amazing entries!

Being a competition though, there is some good news and some bad.

The bad being that we have to say goodbye to people.

Or in this particular case, say goodbye for a second time this season. Unfortunately, someone had to be first. But just coming out to take another shot at it, when so many other people sat on the sidelines, is a victory in and of itself.

We are saying goodbye to

The good news is that we are losing two other competitors, but in a better way. They have the opportunity to leave SCI and enter the main competition (as of Week 10).

(I say "opportunity" because they can say "no thanks", in which case it would go to the next highest total)

No. This isn't an open bar. That's over on the other side.

This week was all about Marching Orders and it's time to see what the voters out there in Vote-land thought. From what I have seen, it's another really good week, so it's going to be even more important to get out and support your favorites.

Before we get to the poll, there is the usual round of bad news. 2011 continues to take it's toll as people get back up to speed. Unfortunately, for some, it just wasn't able to happen here.

Some really great people, and writers in that group. I was hoping to see more of them. But that is the way it works out sometimes.

As for the poll itself, the tribes have stayed the same - and it is still the lowest vote total from each of them are eliminated. As we continue toward the Top 100, the pressure continues to racket up as more and more people start stepping up to the plate and hitting that ball pretty darn hard.

How are you? I hope you are well. I'm doing OK. . . let's skip that part. You don't want the small talk. You want your next topic!

While people are voting in the Main Event - http://community.livejournal.com/therealljidol/414212.html you will be preparing to wow everyone and show them why you should be over there!

The next topic again comes from the contestant suggestion pile. These were ones that there wasn't space/time to use at the end of last season.
