I didn't vote for her - I sent her a congratulations via a friend we have in common.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised with all the crap that's been stirred up, it's what you get when you agree to open those doors to the public. No one is ever going to happy or satisfied unless *they* get their way (and then everyone who doesn't won't be.*g*) but still I thought she needed to know that she wasn't *only* representing morons.

Hopefully other people contacted her with well wishes too - because I'm not so sure hearing *my* voice translates into not representing a moron!*g*

That's true, and that's what I was saying- did I misread the conversation between Tango & clauderainsrm? I thought Gary was saying, "sorry your first choice didn't win," and that Tango said, "'s'okay, 'cause my second choice did," which is how it came down the pipe for me; rm was my first choice, legomymalfoy was my second.

I have been lounging on the bed with my kitties and the two Chis, drinking awesome coffee, watching HGTV, and mentally preparing myself for this weekend's big yard sale prep program. Having now identified the areas that must be tackled, sorted, prepped and priced, I must stop being a lazy brat and get to work.

But not before I touch up my hair color, take a nice warm shower, and figure out what one calls appropriate clothing for a day with varying temps and rainfall.

I'm being careful- not supposed to overdo or work myself up- but of course that's hard to do when I'm starting to feel better and want to get stuff done.

Slow and steady.

I wore a little red ballerina dress, black knee-high platform boot heels and a spiked choker to a prom dinner last night. I was two or three years older than everyone there and there were lots of parents taking pictures and I felt hilariously out of place.

I almost feel bad for my cute high school friend who asked me and my silly boyfriend to come :p

I'm on a cruise in Alaska with my hubby! Whee! 55-60 degrees up here; we did a Dog Sledding & Musher's Camp tour yesterday morning in Juneau, and a Mendenhall Glacier & River Float excursion in the afternoon - yay!
