A few words from Gary:

There were a few different things about this week’s challenge: a shorter deadline, a prompt based on a Jeff Probstism rather than a challenge and of course, I offered a chance for contestants to sit out.

Halfshellvenus took me up on the offer and is now enjoying the buffet all by herself for the duration of this challenge. She gets to sit back and watch as the rest of her tribemates fight it out for immunity.

For the rest you - the poll will close Thursday Feb 11th at 8pm ET. The contestant with the most votes will win immunity.

Worth playing for? Obviously, most of you think so.

Survivors ready? Go!

Wow, I never thought absolutely everyone else would write an entry!

I'm sorry-- it was a really bad week for me (there were a couple of deaths, not in my immediate family, but they hit me pretty hard). I appreciated the opportunity to sit this week out.

But I look forward to reading all of YOUR entries! And did we get any Home Game extras?

I am so sorry. You had a terrible week. I'm glad that you had the option to sit this one out. Rest, and regroup. I can't imagine how much you must have needed this week "out."

*Hugs*

I'm sorry to hear about what happened in your family. Anyone would want a break after that.

I wasn't going to write an entry, either, but then I got an idea and decided I wanted to get it down!

*hugs* Maybe this option was meant especially for you, so you can stay in the game with us and not have to stress this time around!

It sure helped to have the option available! I was feeling pretty low until the beginning of this week.

I definitely thought about sitting out, but I'd always told myself if I were on Survivor, I'd never sit out an immunity challenge. So I felt like I couldn't let myself down. But if I'd had as bad a week as you, I totally would have.

So don't feel bad! Enjoy your buffet and a couple days of not worrying <3

Thank you. It was a very tough week and a half, and it really helped not to have to stress about that particular prompt.
