Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas is coming to theatres in the next couple of weeks. If you've never seen it, at least now I know what is wrong with you. You are clearly broken in a fundamental way and you need to go see it.

Granted, I'm pretty sure it's not the original, with the Kermit bookends. But your chances of watching that pretty much require a VHS.

I mentioned this in the poll - but Second Chance will be starting in the month of December. So definitely start talking to people about it. The more people exposed to the addiction that is Idol, the better. And of course, those who come in through Second Chance might have a history of not winning - but they also have a shorter path, so for anyone who may have been on the fence due to time commitments a couple months ago... *shrug* Just putting it out there.

What will I be putting..."out there." Mm'mm. Well, I've been invited out to dinner after church on Saturday...I guess that means I'm putting myself..."out there." That sounds a little...riskque. Then I will spend the next couple of days recovering and on Tuesday the plan is to go and visit my dear friend who will be celebrating her 100th birthday! How cool is that?! :-)

I have to help set up for a big sale at the school. It runs all next week, and that's fine. But we have very few volunteers, and I have no idea how to run a sale. I'm an academic, not a sales person.

I also have to make an appearance at a charity event, and I have rehearsals.


So in short, what weekend? I get one day to myself, and I'll likely spend that doing laundry.

Here at good ole' Oceanville, NJ. the rain is falling once again. Our soil has to be so saturated here. It has been raining every day, or every other day since April it seems. 😐
