Sorry about there not being a Green Room today. I was going to post one this morning, but ran out of time... and then I went to our company "Employee Appreciation Banquet" (note to anyone who ever organizes one of these, you know what makes employees feel *really* appreciation - being told that they need to stay to help take down the tables and chairs and clean up the trash. It's always makes folks feel special.)

But I digress... that took far longer than it should have and by the time I got home it was late afternoon and I figured that I would just post a Green Room post-Results.

I'll mention again that the deadline is at noon. That's because I have the day off. So rather than trying to squeeze it in during my evening hours I'm going to relax and sleep in and put the poll out in the afternoon. I *can't* do it later that night or the following day. I am mentioning that just in case someone thinks "Oh, Gary will be nice again and extend the deadline." Don't count on that. Never counting on me being kind and understanding is a good way to go through life. ;) You should always be thinking "Gary is thinking of ways to kill me" and life will be much better. :D

Oh goodness, I'm pretty sure that this week's topic describes what my house looked like before I finally gave in and did a great purge!

My boyfriend has to work tomorrow (unexpected; we usually have the same days off!), and so I'm at a loss for what to do. Errands, probably.

Plan for the weekend is to work...unless this stabbity pain in my lower stomach turns out to be a kidney infection, at which point plans will change to include a visit to the clinic.

Heh. I feel this topic on a personal level. Though I will have to ponder how to make a good entry from it.

This is the first weekend in the past two months that we actually have no plans (and our football team even has a bye week, so no game to watch), so my goal is to finally, finally, finally start decorating the nursery and get all the baby clothes washed in case the little one shows up early. Also we need to do a little more shopping to get the last of the big items we need. So I'm hoping for a productive baby weekend because I definitely need one!

This weekend has been mostly a lazy one with super simple blanket fort making for the kiddo (a few couch cushions under a card table, a blanket tossed on top, done!), and movie watching, as we all try not to get sicker from our family-wide cold. Really, though, it's mild colds, and the naps and tea and stuff are actually pretty cozy and nice, which helps combat the icky stuffy nose feelings. And now I need to write!!

Gary is laughing at all of us I think as we are ALL the subject.

I still bet I beat at least 75% of you all. I get boxes of books sent to me blindly. Sometimes I find time to read them all. Other times just a tweet or a press release sent out. Oh whoops... writing my entry.

Anyways, I was in Boston (I live in NYC if you didn't know) from Friday early to around 8:30 tonight when I finally got in the door of my home. I may have added to the growing pile while in Boston.
