"It's hard to beat a person who never gives up" was this week’s topic, and it feels like it was tonight’s theme as well with trying to get this poll up! As usual, it was something ridiculously small that kept me up into the wee hours of the morning! But I ending up figuring it out, eventually. That’s why you keep going, because you never can be sure what little thing is going to be the one that trips you up, and which is going to be what ends up saving everything!

Is it still possible to sign in and vote from Facebook and Twitter or just from another blog?

According to this, the site should support OpenIDs:https://www.dreamwidth.org/support/faqbrowse?faqid=62

And googling suggests that both Facebook and Twitter support it, but personally, I've only ever used it with my LJ and Google accounts.

Hmm. It would be great to get a clear answer on this, because I know many people have friends and relatives who used to read and vote with Facebook and Twitter logins on LiveJournal, and it's not obvious how to do that here. I was only able to figure out how to login using KFP's LJ account, because I didn't feel like creating a whole new Dreamwidth account for him at this point.

Open Source blogs only. (LJ is one).

Livejournal allows you to log in from FB and Twitter but DW does not. They would have to sign up for an ID.
