Topic - Week 1

I've been compiling a list of potential topics over the last 6 months or so. As the start date got closer, I started narrowing them down and putting them into a rough order.

I was pretty sure what the first topic of this mini season was going to be.

Until I received that email from Alexpgp's daughter.

If you are new, you don't know who Alex was - but if you aren't, you know that he was a fantastic writer, Idol legend (Member of the 100 Weeks Club) and all around good guy, who passed away during our last season.

If he was around, he would be here, ready to write.

Apparently, he had an "inspirational phrase" from Babe Ruth that he kept on his wall next to his desk.

When I heard it, I knew that it was our first topic.
