No exciting plans but lots of non-thrilling ones!

I have two jobs at this point in my life. Librarian and chauffeur.

My daughter has a three hour dance team rehearsal tonight, I'll be driving her there.

My daughter has to take the SAT tomorrow, I'll be driving her there.

(While she's at the center, I have lots of little errands to run.)

My daughter needs photos printed at Wal-Mart for her scrapbooking class at school, I'll be driving her there on Sunday.

I also promised my son some video game time Saturday night...I'm thinking with pizza!

Aaaaand, that's my weekend, LOL!

I'm getting on a plane later today, so I'm in that phase of trying to tidy the apartment and leaving myself notes to not forget my toothbrush or my pajamas. My weekend once I land will be spent visiting with friends we don't get to see very often, which I'm looking forward to.

California. My husband needed some face time in his actual office next week, we are adding the weekends on either side to be social.

Our move from there to CO was about this time last year, so weirdly heading back still feels a bit like going 'home', even though it's not anymore.

Tomorrow I'll be spending my birthday taking my boys to karate, possibly doing karate with them myself, and going to the library. (That is if we don't get snow, which has a tendency to shut down Nashville with just a dusting.) It's possible that I'll be gaming with friends, or maybe just hanging out at home with my family, wishing my kids would clean up after themselves. Sunday, I'll either be gaming with friends or visiting with my husband's cousin who is visiting from Philly. Again, barring a snowfall.

My plans this weekend include hunkering down, battening down hatches, and staying indoors. The S Word has been uttered on the weather forecast on the anniversary of the Blizzard of '93 that all other blizzards are judged by. At least here in the southern Appalachians. Other regions may have other judge-by blizzards, but this one is ours.

I'm not going to make it on the "submitting an entry" thing this week. It's a good thing that I still have a second bye to use.

As for my weekend, the plan is to go to work at 7pm tonight and work all weekend. Whee. I'm hoping things will be quiet, but it looks like we have some bad weather on the radar, so things may not be.

Weekend! I made it to you!

Weather of the southeast! Why?! Why do you do this to me! I took time off to climb on Monday and now they call for snow. My last guided day in Colorado was early fall 2015 and very nearly too cold. Hopefully Monday in NC will be similarly thrilling but not too icy.
