Green Room - Week 7 - Weekend Edition

We just got back from picking out our wedding cake. (after the group service we will be going to the nearby park with the family and friends who show up for a short "reception"/excuse to eat cake.

There are still so many details to handle in this "on-the-fly", with a couple traditional elements (cake being one). We don't even have wedding rings (we both have rings to use, but not that one "symbol of marriage" to exchange. It's times like this that I wish we were having a mini-season about to start. :D In Idol news though, this might just guarantee that I'd be willing to have one!)

I went to a 50th Birthday party and did not know anyone..there was no wedding cake to be seen, voyeurism was the only wall open to me perhaps the fate of the long distance runner, your....wedding will be fine don't panic, long after the pictures turn sepia you will still laugh about the small things of the day.

We went with wedding ice cream sundaes (build your own), because I am not always such a fan of cake. I'm not certain it's possible to get away from all the details of a wedding.

In Idol news, I finished reading and voted. Remember years ago when poetry was the kiss of death? Everything evolves.

It's an exciting time. One of the things I love most about being a wedding photographer is the small details. Those that make the wedding as unique as the couple!

We have such an interesting mix of writers this Season!
