The axe has fallen once again - and again, it was really close.

A single vote separated people from going and it being a 6-way tie.

Two votes? That could have created a 7 way tie. (or a 10 way if those 1 vote up also received a vote)

Anyway, what I'm trying to get across here is that *every single vote matters*. If you haven't picked up on that yet, now is a good of time as any to learn that lesson!

As is... we have two people being eliminated, and it's a 3 WAY tie! (AKA, that axe fell *most* of the way, but not *all* the way)

What this means is it's another Sudden Death Write-Off between

I suppose now seems like as good a time as any to apologise for writing an entry that was absolute garbage. I knew it was garbage. I was ashamed to put my name to it. It could have been so, so much better. There were so many more points I could have said. There were also better ways of saying what I did say. Usually after thinking about the entry all week it's the time pressure that causes the words to crystallise into the entry -- and, I hope, a fairly decent one. This was an entry that would have really benefited from a draft.

Of course, I couldn't say any of that whilst the poll was up, because then even fewer people would vote for me. I just have to stand by what I did and brazen it out, hoping for the best. And I didn't want to sacrifice, because there are still entries I want to write, and I hope I can knock it out of the park next week. I do write good entries, entries I'm proud of, just ... not every week. Not consistently. Probably because I don't enjoy the writing process itself, particularly, but that's another story.
