Speaking of, I've only watched the first two episodes - but I'm finding the show Fleabag. It's on the BBC, but is being shown on Amazon. (I'm not watching it on either of those. :D)

Every episode of the Nerdist Writers Podcast ends with asking "what are you enjoying", and it was mentioned on a recent show, talking about how they thought the combination of effectively breaking the fourth wall, combined with a rare "unlikable female lead" made it interesting. I'm enjoying it so far. I'm enjoying the interplay between characters and seeing the backstory develop.

What are YOU enjoying, that you haven't seen (many) other people talking about?

First?

Right now, I'm watching Rizzoli and Isles. It's one of those shows I can watch while working, cooking, cleaning, etc and not get lost. For that reason alone, I'm enjoying it. Plus, I just find it funny sometimes.

Good one to catch up on, since it's finite. Really interesting final ever episode.

I have no clue what season you're on though.

The book series is also fun, although the show really goes different places then it after awhile, much like BONES.

I'm watching the sixth season on Hulu, but they don't have season 7. Ugh. I want to watch the last season!

Don't read the books until after you finish the show. The books are only enough like the show to make you hate the show (but the books are better). :)

I read the first 4 books, then started watching the show. I haven't picked the books back up yet for that very reason. :)

Well, prob lots of folks are watching but I love Shameless in Netflix. I'm in Season 5 mid way. I think a challenge for the writers is to have the younger kids' characters grow into something as dynamic as the older kids' characters. Everyone else on there, "good" and " bad / anti heroes" is so multi-faceted and well portrayed.

Debbie and Liam's growing up in that insanity I think is fulcrum of the program. I dropped out for awhile but I think I need to get eventually get back in to it.

I can't believe it's actually on its seventh season. It's actually a six year old show. It's crazy.

Good morning!

Last night I watched the first two episodes of HBO's new series The Young Pope starring Jude Law and Diane Keaton. Is he good? Is he evil? How should I know? It's a ten episode series and I am only two in, but it's pretty, so I will watch the next episode.

Also really enjoying This is Us.

Things I watch that I don't see a lot of traction on?

Well, where do we mean? Do we mean our own timelines? or do we mean in hashtags? Cause if by hashtags that's impossible... anything on TV is being spoken about by a lot of people.

I think what's more interesting is the things others watch and talk a lot about that I had/have no interest in.

Like Sherlock's season 4. Didn't watch and my entire timeline seemed to always HATE watch it. "It'll get better, it has to".. then on the finale "What was that?"

I haven't really seen any tweets or facebook posts about Emerald City though. It's only three episodes in but no one I follow seems to be paying it attention. I'm lost while watching it so far but still in for now.

No one I know seems to have DirecTV (neither do I) or if they do... they never watch Audience (I can't... so I find other ways). Channel has some great shows, KINGDOM, YOU ME HER, ICE.

I guess I don't see much posts about FREQUENCY either other then the ones made by the writers.

I'm done now.

Well my standard answer of late is Leverage. (I'm on a rewatch and just hit season 5.) I love the show a whole lot and it hits a lot of good notes.

Other than that? I just started the Man in the High Castle and Person of Interest, and generally like them both.

That's of course TV wise. Book wise I'm about to start Life of Pi and just finished Mira Grant's latest Feedback (a continuation of her zombie political thriller series.)

Oh, Leverage. Such wonderful, caper-filled TV with great actors and that packs a surprising punch when you realize how many of their cases are at least a little based on real-life. I missed that show when it ended, maybe a rewatch is in order.

I'm watching Leverage for the first time. About to start season 3 - I think.

We finished The Man In The High Castle on Amazon over the weekend. I don't know if they'll return for another season. On another forum somebody was saying that the story had already deviated from the book this season, so if they were going to continue, it'd be more inspired by the book than anything else. My husband thinks it won't return given that they tied everything up quite well the last episode.

I've been rewatching Planet Earth :)

I can't think of anything I haven't seen other people talking about. The only thing that comes to mind is very schadenfreude-y, and thus not really worth mentioning. :)

i quite like Silence...sometimes it is far better to be alone with ones thoughts than putting up with all the crap for the sake of hearing a human voice on repeat...Words from a famous English film..." Don't waste your breath.."...have come to mind..love and peace to all whom pass this way.

There are some great entries out there! I just love this about Idol - getting a glimpse into all the differing psyches, seeing a single prompt interpreted a hundred different ways or maybe five different ways with twenty unique viewpoints. It's a wonderful and amazing thing! Especially with the more difficult prompts, one really can read through the entries and come away a better person.

We don't have "tv" so we stream. As do most of us today, I think. So most everything I'm watching is older. We just gave up on Southcliffe because really how much human suffering is one supposed to employ as entertainment. Very excited about Taboo. Dark and delicious although I would like more edgy dialogue. And what is up with Hardy and that confounded mumbling. Highway Thru Hell has gotten strangely dramatic and appears to be more scripted than it was the first two seasons. Heavy wreckers are swoon-worthy for me, though!

We don't have "tv" either. We have an Amazon Fire box hooked up to our TV and stream through Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Hulu. Saves us a ton of money on cable bills...

It really is great to read through the entries and see everyone's interpretations of the prompt. :)

I'm not sure how much reading I'm going to get done this week. I'm relapsing, and focus is horribly difficult. I will do my very best to read everything, but I might not be able to, certainly not by the deadline. Thank you for understanding.
