I remember being in Virginia years ago and hearing that they had combined it into "MLK/Robert E Lee" day and thinking that someone *really* missed the point... or more likely, wanted to make a point of their own.

Good point. The Amazon browser is lousy for getting to the web unless you're browsing Amazon, LOL.

I have a Kindle Fire too. I've found it works better as primarily a Kindle as opposed to using it as an actual computer.

I have one, too, that I bought for the kiddo for Christmas, but my brother has commandeered it for his own purposes. Otherwise I'd see for myself whether another web browser app can be added. xD
