Work Room - Break Week
Dec. 20th, 2016 10:26 pmI've given you some time off during what is, traditionally, the most busy time of year.
But in true Idol fashion, I've also put out a bit of a trap. :) http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/961914.html
Because you *can* take the time off. Or you can complete four entries during that time, knowing that you will get something that could be useful in the coming weeks!
Is the time worth the reward? Is the risk, because who knows what might be waiting at the end of the non-mandatory week?
And what's going on with those topics anyway?
This "week" should be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Date: 2016-12-21 04:04 am (UTC)I had it right the first time (before I posted) and then I looked it up and it directed me to the *other* spelling, so I switched it. Now when I tried that spelling - it directs me to the correct spelling. :)

You need to be more clear here Gary. I got this thing!

Date: 2016-12-23 10:55 pm (UTC)Generally used colloquially in Sweden and the rest of the Nordic countries as a sociological term to describe a condescending attitude towards individuality and success, the term refers to a mentality that de-emphasises individual effort and places all emphasis on the collective, while discouraging those who stand out as achievers.
From Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_Jante)
It's a very not-American concept, obv.
