Happy Birthday to me!

therealljidolFor those of you who DON'T know - today is my birthday! Which means it's the most important day of the LJ Idol year!
People always end up asking me "What do you want for your birthday?" Sometimes I have an answer and sometimes I don't.
This year though, I have one.
We are about a month out from the start of Season 10 (if everything goes the way it should go with the graphics).
When I make the announcement - that will be when my birthday request kicks in - I want anyone who loves Idol, or likes me, or has any evenly vaguely positive feelings toward either of those things to promote the hell out of it. Spread the word. Let people know. Cast the net as far and wide as you possibly can, and encourage other people to do the same!
I saw a lot of old faces at the end of the mini season, I don't want you to disappear back into the ether. I want you to come back out and play with the rest of us! I want new people who have no idea what the hell this is to get excited!
I want Season 10 to be fun. If what I have on paper translates to the game, it will be.
So - Happy Birthday to me and a warning shot to the rest of you that you have a month to prepare! :)

I'm not sure I've expressed this before, having only participated twice now, but LJ Idol has done huge things for me as far as both giving me something other than depression and panic attacks to focus on, and also simply to get back in the writing habit.
