I would first talk to teenson. The purpose of teen slang is to make conversation opaque to parents and annoy them, and I did my part in my day, but now I'm on the receiving end. My usual response is "Huh?"

I would talk with The Boyz. I'm pretty good at translating what they're saying but there are times when automatic translation would be a godsend.

Definitely our cat, who was four when we adopted her and while she has mellowed, she still has issues with trying to bite or scratch when something happens that she doesn't like. We have never had a cat who did either, and this is new to us.

I think I cut her toenails once, a few months after we got her. That was 2 1/2 years ago. She gets them caught on things, and if you try to help her and she's stressed, then by god, THE WHOLE THING IS YOUR FAULT! DIE, HUMAN!

That depends. Could you talk to the dead? I'd love to get some answers from my Mom about who are the people in all these old family photos, for a start.

Label your photos with a soft pencil or an archival-quality photo pen (test in a corner first). First and last names, even if you know them, along with dates, places and occasions.

Oh yes! I would talk with all the critters and the trees and the clouds and...Everything and Everybeing! I would L O V E that! I mean I talk to the critters anyway. And I've been known to talk to, well everything anyway, but with this technology I'd be talking with them, and that would be so cool.
