Indeed I am. Though it's f'ing COLD out there, and the one inch or so of snow that they predicted for today turned out to be ten. And it's still falling.
I spent another day with my family - although they are good people who love me truly and I them, I often wish for that sort of calm peace without expectation.
I hope you enjoyed it. I also now constantly have the squirrel animation from which your name is derived almost constantly on a loop! Wheeeeee!
If I could cook halfway decent I'd ask for good pots and pans, too. ROFL...
Wow... the FAO Shwartz swag sounds sooooo nice!!! I like goblins!
My husband gave me this nice ceremonic music box thing... it has this beautiful artwork by some russian lady... nutcracker ballet scenes. I used to dance and I LOVE the nutcracker. The song is the dance of the sugar plum fairies...
Santa was really good to us! I have many new books to read and DVDs to watch, and a comfy and warm blanket that my sister made for me!
My son made out like a bandit :) Actually, I managed to get him a nearly-new toy kitchen set for him on Craigslist and everything else we got at Ikea. I think he had no idea what to do with all of these new toys. He was a bit overwhelmed.
I didn't get any books. :( But that's OK, there's so many books in my closet to read! HEHE We got a few movies... did you get any that I need to add to my must see list?
I like the idea of being able to curl up in bed with a new comfy and warm blanket to read or watch a movie! Sounds like you had the perfect Christmas!
Awesome deal with Craigslist. We got a trampoline from Freecycle! I love deals like that, especially when it is for holidays!! Good job for finding that!!!
My birthday? Awesome! The day before Christmas...some bullshit, including being in a hospital (for someone else) and having to work in the morning, but the rest...Awesome!
Today? The day I don't celebrate? I go out to take photos at one of my favorite places. I took 68 amazing photos, but along the way I lost my camera bag with my spare batteries and spare memory card. The memory card had nothing on not saved and backed-up, but replacing the bag, batteries and memory card is an expense I didn't need. Blargh...
Not a bad Christmas here. The Button BoyTM made out like a bandit with tons of toys. Rich and I got gift cards galore. And we got some good things from my folks - Teddy got some Leap Frog maracas, Rich got spices and a home-made cookbook, and I got an oil lamp, which is something I've wanted for years. Tomorrow we're going out to return Teddy's one duplicate toy and possibly do a little shopping. All in all, a very good day in our household.

This is because everyone else has lives and aren't spending hours on Facebook taking Flixster quizzes.

You must subscribe. You must.
And while you are at it, get Mr Deity, too. HEHE
