I have a bat covered in barbed wire. I called her "LJ Idol".

By the end of the night, you are going to know who is going to be bashed in the head. There is no cliff-hanger, or "fade to black", you are going to *know*! (You definitely won't have to wait until next season!!)

I'm not going to play "eenie meanie" with anyone. I know where that supposedly came from... and even if I didn't, that's not how I do business.

Right at this moment - the "top" of the poll and the "bottom" of the poll are separated by 12 votes. Which, given how close every poll has been this season, you might think "Wow, that's a lot". It's not. 12 votes is something that could very much change during the course of a day. Especially as things get closer to the wire and there are fewer entries to read.

I haven't watched TWD in two seasons. Part of it was because of the now-Ex Housemates who hated blood/gore and us only having one TV. Part of it was me just being zombied out, which is interesting because I'm getting a similar vibe after binge-watching season 1 of Jessica Jones. Sensory overload perhaps?

For me, the issues with TWD are more or less about masochism. How much can a viewer be expected to endure, and likewise....how much pain/loss/grief can a zombie apocalypse survivor be expected to live through?! But yes, the blood/gore aspect certainly seems something that we either acclimate to or becoming overloaded by! Jones didn't work for me. I think some graphics work better in 2D.

I reached my saturation level with Terminus. That was the last full season I watched. I started watching the next season and never made it to Alexandria because I was utterly spent. It ironic that the very loose fangroup we had at work dissolved maybe midway through this last season because the "founders" (for lack of a better term) both stopped watching for the same reason too.

JJ works for me on a number of levels but it's the endurance issue: I'm really not cut out for so much being thrown at me at once. And I hate the fact that David Tennant plays such a believably evil character.

Agreed on JJ, regarding Tennant. Hard to watch him in that role!

I would love to hear the philosophy, the conscious approach that the writers/producers of TWD are bringing to their vision. I don't find the relentless and brutal deaths to be entertaining. It goes beyond "torture porn" really.

I did just try a southern' version of New England cooking though. That was interesting.
