The difference between staying and going this week, for one of the teams was an average of .4 of a vote.

It was another brutal week as we head closer to the end of the Teams. From who is left, it's pretty much guaranteed to all be brutal weeks from here on out.

This week we are losing some old friends and some talented newbies we met for the first time a few months ago:

Those who are leaving tonight are some of my favorite writers. I hope you will Home Game so I won't miss you so much. aresrising05 wrote such a great entry this week, and heinleinfan's recollection of Hazel was so sweet...and kitty! And oxymoron67's tale about a student who just didn't get it made me laugh, you know the kind of laughter where you shake your head and sigh at the end. swirlsofblue's poem was so haunting, so beautifully written.

I feel so sad, but so privileged to have been able to experience your works.

Sad to go and also sad to see these other lovely writers go.

And I've got to admit am a bit relieved also. I've just not been feeling the motivation to write in these last few weeks and it probably shows. (Though said lack of motivation is partly the result of good stuff happening in real life and resulting busyness, so that's a yay).
