I like a timely warning far less from my university than I like it here. There is great fear in that.

The "timely warnings" here are usually pretty innocent. "Someone didn't lock their doors and came home to find some drunk person in their apartment" kind of thing. Reminders to lock your doors/lock your car, not so much other "timely warnings", thank God.

The road to the Top 30 could happen far more quickly than anyone anticipates, with one "bad week".

I predict somehow this will be my last week only cause I'll get voted out cause I have no clue how to get into a team.

Also I'm writing fiction and I started so I won't stop. Those are my rules.

People tend to get confused when I write fiction cause it's usually really weird and comes from no planning. I just start writing and then stop then start up again.

On the origin of the team name, take your pick:

(a) I wanted a name that suggested an unstoppable force, a ruggedly masculine noun—most assuredly yang in nature—easily associated with the idea of "Look on our posts, ye Others, and despair!" The word "steamroller" came easily to mind. Alas, apart from the word itself, there is no relation to the group Mannheim Steamroller.

Then, to provide a balancing yin component to the name, I selected "gossamer" as an adjective, suggestive of something fine and delicate, yet incredibly strong—and decidedly feminine.

(b) It was the first thing to pop into my head upon awakening with a hangover from having drunk too much homebrew applejack—well, actually, a bowdlerized version of the same.

So hey, gang! Are we a team, or what?
