In the weeks approaching today, I had all these things in mind for what I was going to do with my day off.

I accomplished absolutely none of them.

For the first time since I started playing I completed the reading, the commenting, and the voting long before the deadline. And it feels good.

I have a question, Gary. What are the rules about voting for one's self?

What are the rules for editing entries?
a.) Before the poll closes, but the deadline to submit has passed
and
b.) After the poll closes

You *should* edit them before the poll goes up.

Some minor edits are OK. I don't police it. I figure that the voters are going to do that for me if they think that someone is abusing that.

Ultimately, it's your entry. If you realize you need to add something - add it. Just know that not everyone reads these things at the same time.

There are people who vote early, and if you don't have a finished product for them, they aren't going to come back and see if you've tweaked it.

hahah - well yes, of course you should edit before the polls go up. I just wasn't sure if what you've written is (or should be) locked in after voting has commenced.

The rule is "if you feel that something deserves your support, you should vote for it. If you wrote something that you don't want to support, why should anyone else?"

Catching up like a wyld womyn on my reading. I spent the weekend on the coast listening to the Jungian poet, David Whyte, and letting everything slip sideways out of my mind. It was glorious, but now back to the real world LJ Idol!

My eyes are bugging out, but I've read everything. I mentioned this over at the poll, but I think I need to start reading and commenting as people start posting. I keep waiting for the poll to go up and I just don't have the time to read *and* make comments. I tried to comment on entries of people I've missed the last couple of weeks first this time.

On the other hand, i rewatched the first two seasons of Daria, so not a complete loss.
