Plans... a "fun" party *wink wink nudge nudge* hosted by my buddy wht_wld_u_say on Saturday night, and dinner with the sorta-in-laws on Sunday, as per usual.

I FINALLY got my grade last night for my technical writing class... A! I am thrilled. I kinda thought I had sucked toes this semester, so it feels great to have ended up with such a good grade.

Oh and what am I doing this weekend? Holiday shopping on Saturday. Hopefully game on Sunday unless we the storm we are getting is as nasty as they think. So all pray that the storm here is not too bad because everyone thinks my character is simply a thief. We are at a point where I can use my "other" abilities and show them that there is more to my little Rearden than they realize. Unless I roll badly. Then I'm dead.

Weekend plans?
Tonight not sure: beyond hopefully not freeze to death waiting for the bus, was fricking 0 this morning. I really don't care to get out of bed when it gets to that. I hear the temp it suppose to get to like 14 today but next week apparently a heat wave and we will be in the 30's.
Probably going to watch The Bourne Ultimatium which I got from Netflix.

Tomorrow:bellydancing class and maybe seeing I Am Legend, also getting ready for the 3rd to last concom meeting for MarsCon. Scary to think the convention is so so close to being here

Sunday: Hit the gym for the last meeting with the personal trainer which will be nice so I don't have to deal with his torture but sad at the same time as it has given me the motivation to actually get my butt in there. Then hit the MarsCon planning meeting, after that finish up the final project for my last class of the semester on Tuesday then I am free from homework and school stress until Jan 28th.

Lisa and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

I got up at 1 a.m. because I forgot to make the gift bags for my daughter's Christmas party at school and didn't get back to sleep till after 3.

My husband became incapable of dressing said preschooler at 7 a.m. and woke me to find her shirts (which are in the same drawer they have resided in for TWO years.

My right eye is goopy and red so I take my contacts and have to wear my junky glasses. Isn't pink eye freakin' lovely?

Husband cannot get ancient, crap car out of the driveway to take her to school. I notice one tire is completely flat. In frustration he kicks the car - and busts out a headlight. Way to go, baby!!

And did I mention I received my first (form) rejection letter from an agent for my children's book? Sigh.

When will it be Saturday??

On the bright side, I did have a delicious sausage and cheese McGriddle for breakfast when I drove my daughter to school and...and...well damn. That was the only good thing so far.
