First?!?

This is my first day off in over a week. My next day off isn't until Christmas Day, then I'm off for whatever how many days it takes to use up the rest of my PTO (I think it's up until New Year's Eve day, IIRC).

But hey, I actually had time to read and comment some this week! I'm stoked about that :)

Need to go grocery shopping (yeah, I know) in a bit. I'm going to a cookie exchange tomorrow after work so guess what I'll be doing later on today?

I'm making chocolate gingersnaps and chocolate cayenne meringues.  I might leave out the cayenne, though, since the gingersnaps have som  bite to them.

It's possible the reason for the season is this Icelandic reading holiday I've just heard about on FB. Don't ask me to spell or pronounce it. Just grab a book and celebrate. :)

So maybe Santa just spends Christmas Eve giving everyone presents so that he'll finally get some for his birthday but he never gets any because all the elves are exhausted from having to prepare gifts for everyone else.
